The Christmas season can be hard for people with celiac disease or who follow a gluten-free diet. The holidays are a time for family, friends, and often lots of good food. Be aware of cross contamination at holiday gatherings. If there is a dip or a dish that you know is gluten-free, that does not mean that it was not contaminated at the party. If someone dips a regular cracker into a dip, it is likely that the dish now has gluten in it and is not safe for you to eat.
